A man identified as Agozi Commedy on Facebook who was at the fore in claiming that Mercy Chinwo’s son belonged to Nathaniel Bassey has reiterated his innocence and stance after viral petitions against him.
Agozi who went as far as making a video where he urged Mercy Chinwo’s husband to conduct a DNA test for his son, apparently seems to be looking for a way to evade the wrath of the law and has now made a U-turn in a new video, stating that he never said Nathaniel Bassey and Mercy Chinwo committed
adultery.
He stated that he only advised Mercy Chinwo’s husband to conduct a DNA test which is not bad.
In the video, he even slammed people who drew his attention to the petition, stating that they should invest their time and energy into something meaningful.
He said:
“I never said Mercy Chinwo or Nathaniel Bassey committed adultery. I only said the husband should conduct a DNA test”
However, amid the heat, in another post, the guy took to social media to apologize.
He wrote:
“To Those I offended am very sorry, am very sorry life is process and we learn from our mistakes.”
