Social media users have reacted to a rare gesture of a pastor identified as Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu who decided to gift a widow who treks a long distance to church with her children all the offering money realized from a Sunday service.
The heart-melting incident occurred while the founder of Shekinah Arena Gospel Ministry International, Port Harcourt was delivering a sermon.
In a video, the pastor explained that he was interrupted by the Holy Spirit during his preaching and was instructed to give the church’s offerings to a widow who regularly treks to church with her children.
As he handed over the money to the widow, the pastor revealed that she lost her husband just two weeks prior and was struggling financially.
He also promised to add a sum of N50K to all the money realized in the church that day.
The video on the church page was accompanied by a caption that read:
“GIVE HER ALL THE OFFERING IN IS WHAT HOLYSPIRIT SAID.
